Non-Phosphorous Products for Laundry & Dishwasher - a Shopping Guide
Phosphorous in a lake system is a nutrient that aquatic plants and algae require for growth. However, when there is excess phosphorous, too much plant and algal growth is promoted. This can cause algae and potentially toxic cyanobacteria blooms. Blooms interfere with fishing, swimming and boating, and they have a detrimental impact on the health of the lake. Please see the shopping guide and buy Non-Phosphorous Products for Laundry & Dishwasher

Fishing Alert
Rock Bass has been found in Eastman Lake. This fish is considered a "pest fish". It should be harvested and should not be released back into the lake. It has the ability to take over a habitat and seriously threaten the diversity of fish in our lake. Please see more about Rock Bass here.
